Ligeia by Babani c1920

Ligeia by Babani: launched in 1920. Subtitled, Parfum de Manille.

"Ligéia, who comes from Manila in her lacquered bottle, powdered with gold, is as mysterious as the one whose memory it evokes."

Ligeia, Parfum de Manille, breath of legendary isles, dripping with the orchid sweetness of tropical places. Romantic, luxurious. A wonderful perfume blended from the exotic flowers of Manilla. Its elusive mysterious fragrance unconsciously recalls memories of happy bygone days. Perfume of the eternal siren! Ligeia is languorous, warm and soft as a velvet night, the perfume for luxurious negligees and soft afternoon tea gowns.

Used alone, Ligeia emphasizes the warmth and depth of your personality. Mix Ligeia with Oeillet du Japon and you will have a perfume combining all the qualities of a romantic, luxurious nature with all the sophistication of Japan. Mix Ligeia with Ambre de Delhi to create your own perfume like Elizabeth Arden. Ligeia also unites with Ming to make a fresh and interesting fragrance.
