Red Door by Elizabeth Arden c1989

Red Door by Elizabeth Arden: launched in 1989. Created by Carlos Benaim. The name of the fragrance is a tribute to Arden's famous Red Door Salon and in honor of the Elizabeth Arden woman.





Fragrance Composition:



So what does it smell like? It is classified as an ambery floral oriental fragrance for women.  It begins with wild violets, peach and orange blossom, deepens into rich florals including ylang ylang, red roses, freesia, orchid, jasmine, lily of the valley and carnation, leaving behind the romantic notes of moss, precious woods, spicy vetiver and a hint of honey.   
  • Top notes: ylang ylang, anise, peach, violet, plum, orange blossom and red rose
  • Middle notes: forest lily, rose, Winter Oriental orchid, jasmine, tuberose, carnation, lily-of-the valley, Moroccan orange blossom, wild violet and freesia
  • Base notes: honey, cedar, benzoin, musk, heliotrope, amber, sandalwood and vetiver

Fate of the Fragrance:


The fragrance has been reformulated with modern ingredients and to conform with industry restrictions posed by IFRA, most notably in 1996 and possibly again in 2010.

Red Door has remained a beloved classic fragrance over the years and has spawned some flanker scents and limited edition bottles.

  • 2012 - Red Door Aura







The popularity of Red Door was voted the Women's Fragrance Hall of Fame winner for 2014 at the annual Fragrance Foundation awards, the FiFis, which is considered the Oscars of the fragrance world.

Yo exrano muchisimo este perfume..lo use por 22 anos , so una mujer de un solo perfume , y ese era el mio...en mi piel olia fenomenal, todo el mundo me desia que olia excellente!..como lo extrano..Chanel y armani es lo que uso ahora, y no me gustan como el RED door..Que pena..Gracias por tu video :)
