Parfum No. 450 by Elizabeth Arden

Parfum No. 450 by Elizabeth Arden:launched in 1940. Named for the number on Arden's opera box. The perfume was also known as "Opera 450" and was available in Parfum, Flower Mist and dusting powder. Also available was "450 Eau de Toilette" for men.


Fragrance Composition:

So what does it smell like? I have no published notes on this composition. I would need a sample to tell you what it smells like. It was described as the "rustic symphony of odors of the groves and wild flowers."

Cue, 1963:
"Tuesday is Theatre Night and on special evenings, our gentlemen like to wear Eau de Toilette rather than an aftershave lotion. It's a bit more lasting, very nice for dancing. And we suggest that you keep a bottle at the office  - just in case you can't get to the apartment to change  The fragrance is called No. 450, the price. 7.50 and 12.00 plus tax."
