Sousouki by Babani c1920

Sousouki by Babani: launched in 1920. Sousouki is the name of Madame Butterfly's maid in the opera.  It takes its name from Miscanthus sinensis, also known as the sousouki, a species of flowering plant in the grass family Poaceae, native to eastern Asia throughout most of China, Japan, Taiwan and Korea. It is an herbaceous perennial grass, growing to 0.8–2 m (3–7 ft) tall, rarely 4 m (13 ft), forming dense clumps from an underground rhizome.. The flowers are purplish, held above the foliage.

Yasmak by Babani: launched in 1920. It was subtitled, "Parfum Syrien." It was suggested to be worn by "the exotic blonde". A yashmak, yashmac or yasmak (from Turkish yaÅŸmak, "a veil") is a Turkish type of veil or niqab worn by some Muslim women to cover their faces in public.

Fleurs d'Annam by Babani: launched in 1920. The perfume was subtitled "Parfum Annamite." Annam was the name of Vietnam used prior to 1945. Annam (Vietnamese: An Nam) was a French protectorate encompassing the central region of Vietnam. Vietnamese were subsequently referred to as "Annamites".

It was a heavy fragrance designed to be used to perfume furs as well as cigarettes, and to be used in perfume lamps. It was also available in a face powder.
